Eco – Topia I (Abkhazia, Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina)

On July 23, 2020, I attended a conference – Virtual Cross-Cultural Communication Training and Youth Leadership Conference. 🎊🎉 Ten of us young people from 7 Youth Banks (Doboj, Doboj – East, Donji Vakuf, East Ilidža, Novi Grad, Zavidovići, Zenica) stayed in Sarajevo. 

After several days of workshops, getting to know each other and finally writing projects. During the conference, we were divided into several groups together with Abkhazia and Georgia. That is how Katarina from Youth Bank Novi Grad and I from Youht Bank Donji Vakuf, together with Abkhazia and Georgia, wrote the project. The 6 of us wrote with an agreement and came up with the idea to write a project on environmental progress in our communities. So we decided to call the project Eco Topia✔👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻👬👩🏿‍🤝‍🧑🏾

The project started in the ninth month and is planned to be completed by the end of the 11th month of the current year.

After that, we started with the realization of the same, and we started purchasing seedlings, equipment for the action carried out in Novi Grad. On November 8, 2020, Youth Bank Donji Vakuf visited friends from YB Novi Grad and the Bosanski Novi Youth Network 👫 🌱the reason for the visit was the “Eco-Topia” project. As part of the project, seedlings of Quercus rubra, Southern catalpa, Rosa sp. and  Acer palmatum were planted.

At the end of November, a similar action will be held in Donji Vakuf, where the Youth Bank Novi Grad and the Youth Network Bosanski Novi will be our guests. 🚌🙏
