KONKURS ZA POSAO

za radno mjesto MAJSTOR BRAVAR- 1 (jedna) osoba

VJEŠTINE I KVALIFIKACIJE:

  • Srednja škola ili odgovarajuća stručna škola – kvalifikovan za mašinsko, električno ili vodoodržavanje;
  • Poželjno poznavanje engleskog jezika;
  • Najmanje godinu dana iskustva u struci.

RADNI ZADACI I DUŽNOSTI:

  • Svakodnevno obilazi prostorije kako bi procijenio stanje i uklonio sve nedostatke i kvarove u zgradi;
  • Prijavljuje greške i nedostatke koje ne može sam popraviti;
  • Provjerava rad i upotrebu materijala prema radnom nalogu;
  • Osigurava poštivanje kućnog reda;
  • Priprema konferencijsku dvoranu i amfiteatar za nastavu i posebne prilike;
  • Održava mašine i instalacije u zgradi fakulteta u skladu sa svojim kvalifikacijama, pravovremeno detektuje i otklanja sve greške na mašinama i instalacijama;
  • Brine o mašinama i održava mašine i drugu opremu koja se koristi za nastavni i naučno-istraživački rad;
  • Postavlja zastave na Kampusu;
  • Obavlja druge poslove na zahtjev rukovodioca Tehničke službe.

VJEŠTINE I KVALIFIKACIJE:

  • Osnovna, srednja ili odgovarajuća stručna škola;
  • Poželjno poznavanje engleskog jezika;
  • Iskustvo nije neophodno.

RADNI ZADACI I DUŽNOSTI:

  • Obavlja poslove higijene i čistoće prostorija;
  • Na dnevnoj bazi čisti prostorije i održava inventar;
  • Na dnevnoj bazi od prašine inventar, prozore, zidove, vrata, itd;
  • Održava čistoću toaleta, holova, stepeništa i hodnika, nekoliko puta dnevno ukoliko je potrebno;
  • Čisti prozore i zavjese, po potrebi, i čisti podove;
  • Izvještava nadređene o svim primijećenim kvarovima ili oštećenjima na opremi ili instalacijama;
  • Na kraju radnog vremena provjerava i osigurava sigurnost prozora, vrata, dovode vode i električne instalacije;
  • Obavlja druge poslove na zahtjev rukovodioca Tehničke službe.

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

for the vacant position of

ASSISTANT TO MANAGER OF THE OFFICE OF SPONSORED PROJECTS 

– 1 (one) person (m/f)

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Education/Administration/Management, and/or other related field;
  • Knowledge of English is essential;
  • Knowledge of other language is desirable;
  • Computer skills are essential;
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience;
  • Experience in strategic planning, fundraising, networking and risk management; sponsored research/grant experience within higher education/experience in applying for domestic, EU and other projects is desirable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains and updates all grant files and other official records, record keeping systems, records retention, both in hard and soft copies;
  • Researches and interprets funding opportunities to determine appropriateness for the University;
  • Assists with preparation of project proposals and other documents, data entry of grant proposals/awards;
  • Assists with preparation of monthly/annual reports by helping compile and logically format statistical data;
  • Assists the Manager in all phases and aspects of the project;
  • Complies and ensures quality of the administrative work for the Office of Sponsored Programs which includes copying documents, answering telephones, providing information or routing calls to appropriate person, handling incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail, typing memos and other correspondence;
  • Prepares meetings, agendas and related attachments;
  • Maintains and updates the Office of Sponsored Programs website;
  • Creates newsletters and other publication materials with the Manager’s assistance;
  • Provides and schedules supporting activities associated with major meetings, conferences, training sessions, travel, ordering office supplies;
    Other duties assigned by the Manager.

ASSISTANT TO MANAGER OF THE OFFICE FOR FINANCE AND ECONOMIC AFFAIRS

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Economics/Management;
  • Computer skills are essential;
  • English language skills are essential;
  • Other foreign language skills are an asset;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proposes short-term and long-term plans of the resources required for the University operations;
  • Prepares drafts for annual budget according to economic categories, monitors periodical execution of the budget and prepares requests for amendments in the internal structure in due course;
  • In co-operation with faculties, organizes preparation of annual and periodical plans for purchasing equipment for the organizational units;
    Participates in making purchase plans;
  • Enters the data on payment liabilities towards suppliers and ensures that the payments are completed in due course on the basis of accurate financial documentation;
  • Enters the data on the payment liabilities towards the employees and ensures that the salaries are effected in due course on the basis of accurate calculations;
  • Enters the data on the cash accounts on the basis of accurate documentation;
  • Enters all accounting records in to the data basis;
  • Prepares and provides the data on available funds and on current financial state of University;
  • Keeps track of administrative prohibition for the employees;
  • Records all changes in business accounts related to the assets and resources;
  • Receives and checks documentation which is the basis for calculation of salaries and other payments;
  • Records all documents for payable and receivable accounts;
  • Prepares statistical reports;
  • Keeps records of all permanent assets and small inventory of the University by analytical elements and the place of expenditure;
  • Prepares in co-operation with the officer for permanent assets, maintenance and investments, proposals for write-off, liquidation, cancellation etc. of permanent assets and small inventory;
  • Maintains analytical records of purchasers;
  • Keeps records of other analytical data as needed and required by the University management;
  • Keeps analytical records of the employees’ and external associates’ tax files;
  • Prepares reports on available resources, reports on realized income, and the register of payments;
  • Makes adjustments of statements of financial accounts related to permanent assets, small inventory and supplies, in co-operation with the person responsible for managing analytical book-keeping of such resources;
  • Keeps records in the internal delivery book of incoming documentation in the Office;
  • Prepares documentation for bookkeeping;
  • Keeps records of material assets and small inventory;
  • Keeps records of consumption of materials;
  • Makes all cash payments;
  • Ensures adequate and timely supply with the financial means in the maximum amount allowed for the cashier;
    Stores the cash, financial documents and securities;
  • Makes the cashier reports on a daily basis and submits it for bookkeeping;
  • Monitors and checks formal and essential correctness of financial documentation, settles it and prepares for payment;
  • Monitors payments and receivables in the process of obtaining the scientific degrees of Master and Doctor, and distribution of funds;
  • Effects payments of the University liabilities;
  • Keeps record book of incoming and outgoing invoices, decisions and contracts which determine the payment obligations and liabilities;
    Makes reports on inflow, outflow and balance of accounts;
  • Makes calculations related to employment contracts, temporary jobs, author's contracts, and fills out orders for their payments, and submits the orders to the financial accountant for payments;
  • Keeps records of cashier activities at the University;
  • Keeps record book of the main cashier;
  • Receives and completes reports on daily financial transactions and submits the accurate documentation to the main accountant;
  • Withdraws cash from the business accounts kept in a business bank;
  • Checks the financial-accounting documentation, makes approvals for payments of liabilities towards suppliers;
  • Having checked the documentation, approves payments of salaries and allowances to the employees;
  • Ensures that payments are effected in due course in accordance with terms and available resources;
  • Issues orders through the system in compliance with the agreements on delivery of goods and completion of works and services;
  • Performs other tasks as required by the Office Manager.

Pursuant to decision number: IUS-REC-01-1992/23, International University of Sarajevo (hereinafter IUS) announces

 

POOL RECRUITMENT

against future vacancies for the position of ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR (I). The exact number of employees and the type of employment will be determined by a separate decision, based on the real need and student enrollment in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Required qualifications:

  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken;
  • Degree in English Language and Literature – Grade VII or MA Degree in the field of English language teaching (300ECTS);
  • Additional international teaching certificates (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL), preferred;
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience, preferred;
  • Working knowledge of Turkish, preferred;
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and materials design;
  • Knowledge of development and implementation of English language testing and assessment;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and other Internet applications;

Scope of work:

  • Up to 25 (twenty-five) hours a week teaching English for academic purposes (for full-time instructors);
  • Preparation, evaluation and marking of examinations, tests, quizzes, and homework;
  • Preparation of teaching materials;
  • Assessing and continuously monitoring student progress;
  • Performing other educational and administrative duties by ELS Administration or IUS Rector such as translation and committee work;
  • Teaching specialized English courses for business people in various business spheres;
  • Teaching small groups or on a one-to-one basis when necessary.
